Precaution

1. Do not mix the pesticides with bare hands.
2. The user should use full protective clothing which includes rubber gloves, boots either a face shield or dust mask, and an overall rubber apron hood or hat.
3. Use in high concentration with low and volume, application equipment is dangerous and should be avoided.

Symptoms Of Poisoning

Salivation, watery eyes, pinpoint eye pupils, blurred vision, muscle tremors, difficulty in breathing, excessive sweating, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting diarrhea, weakness, and headache. In severe cases, convulsions, unconsciousness, and respiratory failures may occur.

First Aid

1. If swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling the back of throat. Repeat it until the vomitus is clear. Do not induce vomiting if the patient is unconscious.
2. If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with a copious amount of soap and water.
3. If eyes are contaminated, flush with plenty of salines/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes.
4. If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air

Antidote

Atropine sulphate administers Intramuscularly or orally. The patient should be observed for several hours following exposures and atropine sulfate may be re-administered if symptoms persist or occur.

Disposal Of Used Container

1. The packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.
2. The packages shall be not left to prevent their re-use.
3. The used packages or surplus materials and washing from the machine in the container shall be disposed of in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental and water pollution.

Storage Conditions

1. The packages containing the insecticides shall be stored in separate rooms or premises, away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of the insecticides
2. The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticide shall be well built, dry, cool well lit and ventilation and of sufficient dimension to avoid contamination with vapour.
